Switch on Life
Switch on Life is dedicated to explaining the science behind hearing in general and cochlear implants in 8 chapters and a total of 20 interactive video-based activities, gamified hearing tests, and various audio simulations. 4 renowned scientists guide through this interactive story and explain the experiments.
Switch on Life was launched by MED-EL in 2020 and served since then curious people around the globe and especially secondary school classes in natural science classes.
AUDIOVERSUM
Based on the concept of Switch on Life, a new interactive museum exhibit was launched by the AUDIOVERSUM in 2021. The exhibit currently is a small and collection of entertaining but informative experiments.Recently, a new playful speech test has been develped in collaboration with the AUDIOVERSUM and added to the collection of experiments.
Fuirthermore, this website is also used to host encapsulated experiments for public events, auch as the 'long night of museums', 'long night of research', and even in partnering museums, like the 'Deutsches Museum' in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
New ecapsulated museum eexhibits are under development.
Essentials of Hearing
Essentials of Hearing gives a playful insight into the physics of the hearing process. In the same year, a school education endeavor dedicated to deciphering the secrets of the hearing process came alive and was called Essentials of Hearing. A series of silent experiments with mechanical ear model for secondary schools, and clown lady Trude inspire young scientists.

Hear 2 Live
Hear2Live is an emotional and informative story about little Oliver and his parents who seek a hearing solution for their son. This engaging and interactive journey form being deaf to having cochlear implants in two ears will help parents and care givers to understand the symptoms of hearing loss, steps and decisions to be taken, and the benefits of living and hearing with cochlear implants.
Hear2Live also provides a variety of meaningful resources for each step in this journey.
Speak Up Listen Up
Speak Up Listen Up is an interactive audio story for you people with hearing aids, middle ear implants and ccoochlear implants. A variety of complex listening situations can be played through and different communication stragtegies can be tried out. If the various challenges are solved correctly, experience points (hearts) can be collected.
This interactive story empowers young people to master their acoustic lives with their hearing devices.
